The Reason

One day, while scrolling through Facebook, I was overwhelmed by post after post of abandoned animals, abuse cases, and rescues pleading for help because they were full. I came across a particularly disturbing story about a woman who starved her dog and then lied about it—and that was the moment I decided I’d had enough.

I was tired of standing by and doing nothing.

There is no centralized platform where rescues can share the names and histories of individuals who have harmed or failed animals—whether they broke an adoption contract, abandoned a pet, or were caught abusing an animal. Laws are too lenient, enforcement is inconsistent, and sadly, animal welfare is often not a priority.

This website was created to change that.

My mission is to provide a secure, searchable space where rescues can share and access critical information to help protect animals from known abusers or neglectful adopters. I know that most rescues are working nonstop in the field—pulling animals from shelters, coordinating fosters, and handling emergencies. They don’t have time to monitor every news report or social media post.

That’s where I come in.

I scan the internet and follow the news daily for animal abuse cases and stories that might otherwise go unnoticed. I reach out to rescues across the United States to gather and verify information, ensuring that this platform serves as a trusted resource for those on the front lines of animal welfare.

For now, the focus is national—but the mission is much bigger than that. This is about protecting animals from ever being hurt again by the same hands.

Mission

Driven by the mission to provide a centralized platform for animal rescues, shelters and private rehomers to vet their adopters by name or location.

Vision

To create a safer, more responsible adoption process by providing a trusted, transparent registry of individuals who are not suitable for adopting pets, helping shelters and rescues make informed decisions and ensuring that animals find the loving, forever homes they deserve.
